CANOPY 291

The Canopy 291 is unique and made from a RRD Religion 7m² kite that was manufactured in 2015.

This RDD kite first flew in Kalpitiya, on the west coast of Sri Lanka. This sail tasted the powerful winds of the lagoon and the wild waves of the Indian Ocean. Forged by the sun and endless sessions, it carries the raw energy of this legendary spot where sand, wind, and sea become one.

Each Canopy jacket is tailor-made to order, crafted individually from a unique kite sail. This ensures that no two pieces are ever the same — every stitch, cut, and color tells its own story. Because of this meticulous process, orders placed now are expected to arrive in late December, just in time for winter’s first winds.

The Canopy collection is known as the best windbreaker in the world. Leveraging its previous duty of harnessing the wind, it provides exceptional wind resistance.

Inside, the jacket features a lining made from recycled polyester, complete with a zip chest pocket for valuables and a large open pocket, perfect for carrying books or a water bottle. 

While the kite fabric was naturally waterproof when new, it has lost some of its factory perks due to long exposure to the elements, and we do not guarantee its full waterproofness.
